Terms & Conditions
Thank you for participating in the DigiCycle buyback offer.
By sending your device - you are accepting the Terms & Conditions outlined below.
I agree to the following Terms & Conditions of www.digicycle.com.au:
- Where possible, DigiCycle will restore received devices to factory settings and erase all content. If a device cannot be restored due to its condition, the reset may not be performed. In such cases, it remains the customer’s responsibility to ensure that any personal data has been secured or removed prior to sending in the device.
- You understand and agree that all data stored on the device may be deleted and will be unrecoverable.
- I confirm that I am the sole and rightful owner of the device(s) I am selling to DigiCycle. If any device I trade in is later found to be lost or stolen, I acknowledge and accept that I will not be entitled to receive payment.
- I confirm that the condition and model number of the device(s) I have provided to DigiCycle are accurate and correct.
- DigiCycle is not liable for items that may be lost or damaged during transit by Australia Post via our AusPost Label. We recommend that customers who would like extra peace of mind when sending an item consider adding Extra Cover using Australia Post’s insurance options. This provides loss or damage coverage up to the specified value of your items while in transit.
- DigiCycle is not liable for items that may be lost or damaged during transit by Australia Post using your own postage method. You have the option to purchase insurance via Australia Post at an additional cost.
- Risk-Free Evaluation/Service: Once we receive your device, it will be assessed based on its condition, including but not limited to the criteria listed on our website.
- Any stolen, blocked, counterfeit, or fake devices sent to us will be reported to the police. No payment will be made, and the device(s) will not be returned.
- DigiCycle reserves the right to reject any device(s) originating from overseas. You may be offered a lesser value and will have the option to accept or reject it.
- If a device is found to have liquid damage or physical damage, it may be subject to a revised offer, which you may choose to accept or have the device returned free of charge.
- DigiCycle must receive the device within 14 days from the trade-in offer; otherwise, we reserve the right to offer a lesser amount, which you may choose to accept or reject.
- All device pricing is inclusive of GST.
- You will ensure that all payment information (PayID, Account Name, BSB, and Account Number) is correct. DigiCycle does not validate the details provided and cannot guarantee that the receiving bank will validate the details for payment instructions. Any error in these payment details may result in a loss of funds. To the extent permitted by law, DigiCycle is not liable for any loss arising from errors in instructions given or by an authorized user.
- You acknowledge and agree that all personal identifiable information provided to DigiCycle in connection with the buyback program is governed by the privacy policy available at www.digicycle.com.au , which may be updated from time to time.
- Any items sent with the device(s), such as chargers, external covers, USB devices, micro-USB cards, SIM cards, and boxes, will either be recycled or disposed of. These items will not be returned if the final assessment is rejected for any reason.
- DigiCycle reserves the right to reject an initial online trade-in offer if the device has missing or aftermarket parts and/or has been tampered with by an unauthorized repair agent. This includes unauthorized software modifications, also known as “jailbroken” for Apple devices and “rooted” for Android devices.
- If there are any issues with your device, we will contact you via email and phone with a revised offer. If we receive no response within 14 days of the revised offer, we will proceed with payment for the revised price.
- DigiCycle will dispose of any iCloud-locked devices 14 days after sending an email requesting the device to be unlocked.
- If you send your device to DigiCycle without creating a sell order on the website, we will attempt to contact you via letter or mobile number if no other details are available. After 2 weeks without a response, we will process the device. You waive any rights to request the device back, and we reserve the right to offer the current website price at the time of processing.
- If you are selling a mobile phone device or tablet, DigiCycle may request proof of purchase (invoice) in either PDF form or a photo of a physical invoice. If this information cannot be provided, DigiCycle reserves the right to reject your order.
- If you are selling a mobile phone device or tablet, DigiCycle may request a copy of your Australian driver’s license, or if unavailable, a copy of your passport. If this information cannot be provided, DigiCycle reserves the right to reject your order.
